Aloo Batata Recipe (Aloo Vada)

Ingredient:

For Potato (Aloo) Mixture

- Boiled Potatoes (Ubala Hua Aloo)        6
- Finely Chopped Onion (Piyaz)       3 Small
- Finely Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)       1/2
- Finely Green Chilli (Hari Mirch)       3
- Dried Coriander Leaves      2 tbsp
- Dried Mint Leaves               1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)       1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi)        1/2 tsp
- Chaat Masala         1 tsp
- Salt (Namak)          To Taste

For Coating:

- Gram Flour (Besan)         2 Cups
- Cumin Seed (Zeera)         1 tbsp
- Dried Coriander Leaves      1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)        1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi)          1/2 tsp
- Chaat Masala           1 tsp
- Salt (Namak)           To Taste
- Water              As Required

Direction:

For Potato Mixture:

- Firstly boil potatoes and mash it.
- In a mashed potatoes, add all ingredients of potato mixture, and mix well.
- Make balls of potato mixture. Keep set aside.

For Coating:

- In a bowl, add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, salt, cumin seed, and dried coriander leaves, and mix well.
- Gradually add water and make thick batter.
- Add baking soda and mix well.
- Now coat with potato ball and fry until crisp and golden.
- Serve with ketchup. Enjoy
