Aloo Matar Ki Tahari 

Ingredient:

- Oil
- Rice Pre Soaked (Chawal)     3 Cups
- Potato (Aloo)     2 Cups
- Pea (Matar)      1 Cup
- Onion (Piyaz)      3 - 5 Small
- Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)     3 - 4 
- Garlic Ginger Paste (Lehsan Adrak Paste)    1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder (Dhania Powder)    1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi)     1 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder (Lala Mirch)    2 tsp
- Salt (Namak)      To Taste
- Water      As Required

Direction:

Heat oil in a pot. Add green chillies and saute in a minute.
- Add onion and cook until onions are golden brown. Add garlic ginger paste and saute well.
- Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well. Add little water and saute all spices for few minutes.
- Add the peas and potatoes along with two cup of water. Cover and cook until the peas and potatoes are tender.
Add the pre soaked rice to the pot and mix. Add water rising to one and a half cm, above the surface of the rice.
After water boils once, cook in low flame until done.
- Serve with Raita.
