Aloo Matar Ki Sabzi | Potato Pea Curry


Ingredients:

- Oil
- Garlic Clove (Lehsan) 4
- Onion (Piyaaz) 4
- Peas (Matar) 1 Cup
- Potatoes (Aloo) 1 Cup
- Green chillies (Hari mirch) 5- 6
- Coriander powder (Dhaniya ) 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder (Lal mirch) 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder (Haldi) 1 tsp
- Salt (Namak) To Taste
- Chat masala 1/2 tsp
- Water 2 Cups

Directions:

- Heat oil in a pot. Add Garlic clove and fry for few minutes
- Add onion and cook until onions are light brown or pink
- Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Add liitle water and saute all spices for few minutes.
- Add peas and potates and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add water just enough to cover the potatoes. Cover and cook on low to medium flame.
- Stir in between a few times, cook until the peas and potatoes are tender.
- Add Chaat masala and green chillies and cook for few minutes.
- Serve aloo matar with rice or roti.
